Today besides a huge to-do list carefully managed by Mutant I'm celebrating 2 Birthdays. Happy Birthday to Paul de Swart and Wijnand Tinholt. We hope you have a wonderful day and if you dare not like your "Marielle" presents here Mutant's idea of a Birthday present to Marielle.

It looked sweet but boy did it end with a BANG!!!!
The culmination of a totally wonderful birthday meal at Restaurant d'Vijff Vlieghen in Amsterdam.
And for you folks back in The States, sparklers are de'rigeur for birthdays in Holland.
Candles, and the entire restaurant breaking into a loud and no doubt embarrassing song, are so so American.
