Cleaning up!

So I'm at Marielle's house for a few days, helping her to clean up & out and prepare for the move to London.

My trip over was interesting. Usually I fly to Amsterdam and then either take a train or a tram to meet up with Marielle. But our planes windscreen apparently cracked during flight, and they diverted us to Rotterdam.

No problem but my luggage didn't show up!!

The airline reacted pretty quickly and found it before I left Rotterdam. Apparently because I was rushing for the flight from London and checked in only about five minutes before leaving (I was the last person getting on the plane, and it had already been delayed once), my luggage never got loaded.

In any case, my stuff is supposed to arrive at Marielle's house sometime today. In fact the airline called twice this morning, so things should work out ok. (Actually the bags were mostly empty as I've been ferrying stuff back for Marielle, and they were four year old Tumi pieces...so I'm ok with getting new ones before the wedding....I don't pay insurance premiums for nothing!
