Purchased the wedding rings today
Today we visited Van Pampus, a jeweler Marielle knew about in Amsterdam. Looking past the tram, you can see their shop
Once inside we focused our search on three trays of wedding bands, each by a different Dutch designer.
As her engagement ring is platinum, Marielle felt that most of the traditional gold coloured rings were out. And she found a set of fantastic pink and white gold rings that we purchased. These are the rings below; her's, on the right, has five small diamonds in the band. Each has two stripes of pink gold at the top and bottom of the band.
We also purchased shoes for the wedding, and later rewarded ourselves for a day of hard work with a lunch of small sandwiches, exotic deserts and PINK champagne.
So everything for the wedding - except for the license which we can't get until we're on the ground in Vegas - is done done done.
